(You should have, it has only managed to dominate mainstream media for the last several hours) Being down under we often miss out on groundbreaking keynotes like this one. Applications: The iPad taps into the existing app catalogue, allowing use of your favourite applications. Whilst there are applications currently being developed to take full capability of the display, all existing apps can be pixel-doubled for full screen use. The iPad features e-Book reading, Apple has developed an e-Book store and application for the iPad. To no surprise the application is called iBooks. iWork for the iPad has been completely revamped allowing for a great user experience; the device will also be able to make full use of YouTube HD in full screen.
